US Trip – 2024 Edition – Page 10

Traveling across the North-East of United States, focusing mainly on New York but also visiting neighboring states all the way down to Washington. D.C. We find some great food, music and sights in a week long trip.

Day 9 – March 10, 2024 – New York City

All good things come to an end. And Sunday was the end of our US trip. But as we started, we would also finish. Last day was sunny and so we went for the final stroll through Manhattan. First going to the Overthrow Boxing Club, located in NoHo, we made it all the way down to Chinatown. Main target was the Wah Fung No.1 Fast Food which is serving very popular duck and other dishes from Chinese kitchen. Still hungry, we wanted to try the West Village’s restaurant L’industrie. This time we went for whole pizza, not just two slices as we did the other day in Brooklyn. Lined up in queue before the opening, we really got to see how popular this place is.

Final steps led to Times Square and nearby streets where we did some shopping and enjoyed dessert in the Brooklyn Diner. After that, it was time to get back to the Newark Airport and fly back to Europe.
